Meditation

The ancient practice of cultivating inner-peace and a sound temple through stillness, being present and singular focus. Just as daily exercise and proper nutrition strengthens the body and boosts our ability to fend off disease, daily meditation adds to our sense of inner-peace and bolsters our ability to weather the storms of life. This ancient practice has become a universally recognized form of “internal calibration,” if you will, that not only promotes a deep sense of calm and total body relaxation but can actually rewire our brains through the process of neuroplasticity. The benefits range from a deepening of compassion, patience and gratitude to improving memory, bettering sleep and decreasing blood pressure. It is, quite literally, among the safest and healthiest expressions of self-love anyone can engage in. During our session, we will go over posture, body awareness, and breath technique before starting our meditation.
